Konomi Fujimiya (富士宮 このみ, Fujimiya Konomi^?) is a supporting character in Non Non Biyori. She is a graduate of Asahigaoka Branch School who lives next door to the Koshigaya Family. As a high-school student, she travels by train to school everyday.

Appearance

Konomi has dark brown hair which she wears in various ways, but most often is seen in a single loose braid over her left shoulder. She has purple eyes. When Konomi was younger, she had her hair cut to bob cut.

Personality

Konomi is a very caring and fun woman, but she can also be serious sometimes where she is a very mature that she acts as a role model for Komari Koshigaya and Natsumi Koshigaya as well as Renge Miyauchi.

However, it's better not to get her angry since she can be very strict that even Hikage and Natsumi fear her

Etymology

• Konomi's surname Fujimiya means "wealth, abundance" (富) (fu), "samurai, warrior" (士) (ji) and "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya). "富士" (fuji) means Mount Fuji.
• Konomi might mean "fruit of a tree" (木の実), especially a nut.

• Konomi calls Suguru Koshigaya "Glasses-kun" (Megane-kun).
• A coming this that Konomi is known for is when wearing her yellow colored short-sleeve sweat shirt, she has different colored sleeves, which hints that the sleeves are removable.
